Artists who have special sections should upload all their images to their own section, that is why their donations were removed from the general EG Sections. I also request for those who have their own section to make a total count of their donations to EG (except moods) and write it behind their name on EG Artists (scroll down for the special artists section). When the new count of the general sections is added by us to EG Artists, some artists may want to consider creating their own section as I have noticed some already surpass the required 20 donations :)

2006-05-15 [Zab]: It depends [eyes of frost], it can take a few minutes and it can take a few weeks, mostly it takes a week, I'd say. :) It depends on wether we see a reason not to accept an image immediatly and have to discuss it. Sometimes it takes a bit longer with 'good' images too because of a few that's suspicious or not clear, but we always message the artist no matter if the image is accepted or rejected. :)
2006-05-15 [Zab]: [BMX] ; Random images are not allowed, it could cause to make Elftown a bit overloaded if everybody uploaded a lot of random images. It would also cause trouble for Elftown if the image is copyrighted, and it's not always easy to know for the guards to know if they are or not. :)

2006-06-13 [Charybdis]: Yes. Having wiki-uploading privs is not required to contribute to EG in many cases - only, like Zab said, when the background would otherwise be Elftown green. The rule is there to accomodate people with other stylesheets; for things like dividers, which are generally rectangular, or your image there, there's no need to worry. :)

2008-07-17 [Mordigen]: Alrighty -- I have 2 questions. I've been making a new round of Graphics for the submission page, when inspiration struck me that I wanted to ask about -- and if it isn't already allowed, makethe suggest *to* allow it xP
1 - Since people have started becoming more and more familiar with using the Image & Text alignment tags, and box tags, people have been adding in spiffy 'side-banners' to their descriptions.
Can we upload free-to-use graphics for these? If not -- can I make the suggestion to? :)
annnd 2 - This one I don't think actually exsists, so I'm just going to start making the suggestion::
would it be too much of a hassle to open up a "house themes" section, where people can upload a group of graphics all based upon the same theme that go together so that people can coordinate there house descriptions if they'd like to?
IE - instead of just uploading a header, or welcome banner, there can be a group of a banner, a header, a footer, a welcome mat, deviders and other odds-n-ends graphics that all match.

The people who donate art to the Et graphics page do it so elftowners can use it on elftown. That is why they don't call it the internet graphics page. But I am not a gaurd, this is just speculation.

There is just one little problem, the background must be transparent.
There are people using other stylesheets without the elftowngreen background. ;)
ECGTD Transparent GIFs or Generating Transparent GIFS can help you change it. :)
